-pops-
I once updated my Alcatel SpeedTouch modem. After the update it ran as fast as my old 56K dialup. This was one of the things that prompted my strict philosophy of it is ain't broke etc., etc.Brian
Graham
I was concerned to get a blue screen on XP until I tracked it down to the lead on my USB mouse. It had gone faulty, and I had to get my soldering iron out.

-pops-
ummm now call me thick and slow but you do realise that it is the camera flash? You ought to turn the flash off for pictures of this nature.A computer monitor is a source of light and will in itself form the image on the light sensitive detectors (film or electronic array) in the camera. Applying extra light towards the screen from a flash or any other source will produce the effect shown or could reduce the contrast of a picture so much that it is un-viewable ;) Brian
