Guest ellas Posted October 29, 2003 Report Share Posted October 29, 2003 have not used my usb 100 zip drive for ages,today I plugged it in but all of a sudden xp cant read the discs,it has before whats going on,I've installed Iomegaware and it says the format is FAT16,this worked on this computer before anyone got any ideas,xp wants to format them. -pops- Posted October 30, 2003 Report Share Posted October 30, 2003 I had a similar thing where XP wouldn't read my Zip drive but I don't know what the FAT was claimed to be.I uninstalled Iomegaware and let XP use its own zip drivers and it worked OK.Worth a try :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
