RonPeters Posted August 14, 2019 Report Share Posted August 14, 2019 Insert the USB drive into the computer system through the USB port. Click on the “My computer- Removable disk icon. Then right-click the “Properties” tab to the Removable disk icon. Left-click the tools tab to select the button named “Rebuild” on it. Let the computer do the task of scanning and restoring files that were previously corrupt. Right-click the corrupted USB drive and choose “Change Drive Letter and Paths…” 4. Click on the drive letter and click Change button. 5. pewpewmarc Posted August 21, 2022 Report Share Posted August 21, 2022 a USB drive's easiest fix is to format it through windows file explorer. but if you have important data on it then... you're outta luck if it's totally corrupted.
