Guest ellas
ok my geforce3ti,about 1 year old,is crashing my backup puter, since its a nforce board with a geforce2 onboard I'm running on that,I recently removed a extractor fan that sat in a pci slot next to the card to take any heat away, anyway had to remove to put a usb2 card in,the fan on the g/card is pretty dusty, think its worth cleaning it with compressed air and sticking the pci extrator fan back in,the crashes started only last night, corruption then a blank screen, happened today after about half an hour,or is it kaput. Guest nellie2
I was reading somewhere that you should leave the PCI slot next to your graphics card empty if possible... can't remember where now though... perhaps your graphics card doesn't like the usb card or did you take that out again.
