Is there an adapter that will expand the existing pins, that is , a fitting to reduce two sets of USB connectors to fit on the motherboards set of one ? If not, why not ? It also has two USB ports ( Everything's got a USB port these days hasn't it :D ) The reader has a long internal cable which fits into a regular USB port ( No real problem, I can run it through and out the back to use one of the existing USB ports)However, in order to connect the two new USB ports to the mobo I need spare USB connector pins on the mobo and there aren't any left. This is the unit (5th down) but I don't suppose it's made by Beantech.http://www.vgicomputers.com/acatalog/Onlin...y_Kits_258.htmlI can simply run the card-reader cable through the box and into an existing USB port at the back ( although your 4+1 solution is neater) My problem is that the unit has a further two USB ports which should be connected directly to the mobo but I don't have any connection points left over.
