I seem to remember reading an article a few years back about AMD cooling a 700Mhz cpu using liquid nitrogen :o

It apparently circulated around a series of pipes using convection currents.

all that mention of chrome and Titanium and sub zero i was expecting a figure higher than £356.........Still cheaper than my leccy bill for the monsterous fan strapped to my cpu...its a good job its screwed down or i'd be chasing it round manchester airport ready for take off!!

Heatsinks... and quiet stuff www.quietpc.com, Zalman and things like that though not eliminating the fan itself, just quietening down.

Haven't tried it yet (but I want to) - graphics card heatsinks from kustom.co.uk also. This does eliminate the fan and I really need it on my own, the peculiar whiney whirr is doing my nut.

You could store yer beer in that thar case...
