ds6767694
My friend bought a HP 15-dy2073dx at Best Buy. The USB-C port does not send video signal though W11 recognizes the monitors model number (PA248)and operating parameters. This is a known Windows bug per Best Buy Geek Squad (still not fixed?). So she bought an USB-A to HDMI x2 adapter. Both monitors work now with laptop closed. One problem remains. The Left Monitor is Main Display and Right is Extended. When the computer sleeps, the Right monitor goes to sleep but then immediately wakes with no video signal, repeating this cycle constantly. She has to turn off the Right monitor with the physical power button. I connected both monitors to my MBP; everything works as expected. Is this a known problem with dual external monitors on W11? ds6767694
Insignia (maker of USB-A to HDMI x2 adapter, Model: NS-PU32H4A) replied that they only tested it on Windows 10! They therefore will not support this adapter under Windows 11.

Boris
"She".- sorry ! Try https://insignia-usb-to-hdmi-adapter.software.informer.com/download/?ca1a948a-1.0 File is called ns-pu37h-bk-new.zip ? Alternatively, tell her to try installing DriverMax https://www.drivermax.com/ It allows you two free drivers a day, to see what driver it finds for it. It's the most reliable driver finder which searches by the hardware ID in it's huge driver database. Make sure she creates a System Restore point first. You don't' need to buy DriverMax, just uninstall it when you're done.
