-pops- Posted December 4, 2003 Report Share Posted December 4, 2003 A couple of points:1. Because of lack of demand, A3 scanners for home use are very expensive. If you've only a few to scan at that size, a printshop is the most practical and economical.2. Don't expect super results from scanning negatives or transparencies with a flatbed scanner (A4 or A3). The resolution obtainable is very poor compared with a dedicated film scanner. For large format (assume two and a quarter square?), again most economical to go to a printshop or photofinishers.
