madboy33 Posted December 11, 2003 Author Report Share Posted December 11, 2003 OK here goesAs you are all aware, i had the M$blaster virus and another porn virus/spy-ware and had to re-format HDD.Well i formatted the HDD and loaded the firewall first and virus scanner before going on line so i would not get the virus again.I then came on line and uploaded the latest virus definitions and then proceeded to windows update to get all critical updates etc etc.When in the process of getting the updates, my computer said that the system had to close down. You guessed it i had the M$blaster virus again, even though i had installed all protection.If it was not for Grimreaper, i would not known the reason as my virus scanner did not pick it.There is a moral to this, when reformatting, make sure you have the M$blaster virus patch prior to going on lineI would like to thank all who have helped me in the last 2 weeks with my problemsthanks all againmadboy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
