madboy33 Posted December 19, 2003 Report Share Posted December 19, 2003 Hi folks, just bought a new HDD (20gb 5400 rpm) for back upsI have a partition (10gb) on my old 40gb HDDQuestion is can (and how) i now delete this partition (the 10GB one) so i can have it to use? madboy33 Posted December 19, 2003 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2003 Or can i use drive image (just bought it)call me thick here, i havent used it yet.Can i make an image of my C drive(put it on my new drive(the back up)), re-format C drive, delete the unwanted partion and then use the drive image i have on my new drive and put it on the C drivedoes that make sense?
