Guest Grim Reaper
Adobe Reader Speed-Up significantly decreases the amount of time required for Adobe Reader 6.0 to start by disabling most of the least used plugins. Plugins can be freely enabled and disabled, if required. Changes in Current Version: Initial Release download here
-pops-
Interesting exercise in computer progamming, I suppose but, does Adobe Reader take so much time to start that it warrants this download?Regular users of Adobe Reader (like myself) keep it open most of the time. Occasional users won't be bothered one way or the other, I think.I just timed it opening on my machine - 9 seconds, near enough. That's with 5 other programs open and a printer going.
