Tony
Hi allI am posting this for a friend.Having big problems getting WIN2K to install on Ian's PC.During the installation get one of a number of blue screens with"IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" or "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" errors, orsomething like a file could not be loaded. Have tried everything including removing all boards, unhooking all drives, changing the memory (with Sarah's PC), changing to a PCI graphics card, changing the BIOS, etc., etc..Still no luck.Have now run out of ideas. From searching with Google it would appear that similar problems have been seen when trying to install or use WIN2K or WINXP. Problem *might* be memory related. The key system components (removed all else!) are as follows: ATHLON 2200+, A7V8X M/B, 512MB of RAM as two PC-166 DDR modules. So if anybody can shed any light on this, i would be greatfull.CheersTony
