Hi Moon

That card is not Direct X 9 Compatable, ok it will work with no problem but it wont use any of the DX9 only features

This was taken from the Crucial Site

Powered by high-performance features, including a quad-pipeline architecture and SMARTSHADER™ technology, the Crucial RADEON™ 9200 SE is the first mainstream graphics solution to combine Microsoft® DirectX® 8.1 support with AGP 8X. The Crucial RADEON™ 9200 SE brings sophisticated graphics processing to mainstream computer users.

Glad to see that somebody is on the ball around here, Tony. Quite right, there were no cheap DirectX 9 compatibles ( well, there were, but the eBuyer reviews were frightening :D ) so I settled for the Crucial Radeon 9200, knowing that it would be OK for Dan who just wants to run his new build as an audio machine. Cheers, Tony. :)

From Crucial ? I've recently put a Sapphire Radeon 9200 256Mb in my machine but it cost £70. It runs everything I can throw at it with Photoshop but I'd have gone for something faster if I could afford it. Still seems like a good deal though ( eBuyer) even though it doesn't perform a great deal faster than my old Voodoo 3 2000. Perhaps that card was ahead of its time though. :)
