Pilch
You really need to have a unique product really to sell....Some can make a living but i reckon it would be hard work....
Sir Radfordin
You can earn a lot of money doing most things, but time and energy are needed in varying amounts.By and large ebay is a collection of people selling and buying each others junk (and the odd good item before all ebay funs gun me down). If you don't have anything to sell, you won't be making any money. If you do have stuff to sell you have to ask yourself why have it in the first place. If you had saved first time round you'd be richer now :)Its just an e-carboot sale. People make money at them as well...!
antidote
thats the whole reason i want to sell on there i've got alot of stuff i dont use or dont want any more such as dvds vhs videos computers consoles clothes things that are taking up space
-pops-
As hinted at - a car boot sale is much, much easier and you have the confidence there that you get the money straight away and don't have to worry about some dodgy "customer" sending you rubber cheques and such like. Sir Radfordin
If thats the case then I suggest you spend a bit of time searching for similar products and see how much they are selling for. I doubt you would get more than £5 per item. You would then also need to add on p&p. You may get more success as pops says at a carboot sale, or from somewhere like cash converters (or similar). You do also have the benefit of knowing you have got your money without any problems. One problem with ebay is that people who use it tend to buy from people who have a good track record. This can make it hard to start out and you may not get as good a price as people will feel less secure buying from you.A few people have posted their items on this forum so you may want to consider the same thing. Guest Shirley_Crabtree
I have to agree that using Ebay to sell your old tat isn't really worthwhile(unless your old tat is very old and rare in which case you get to offer it to a huge clientele and stand to do well  )There are many people who have given up there "real" jobs and now "Ebay" for a living but they have been lucky and found a product that can be bought very cheaply wholesale and sold on Ebay for a good profit.Check out the biggest seller on Ebay here19,614 PAGES of feedback!!!!!!!But save your tat for the car boot :DEbay community forums (good info!!!) here Shirl.
