djohn Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 Hi Monkey, the page first loads with a white background, less than a second with broadband. The page graphic then takes about 18-20 seconds!Once loaded the page looks terrific, I like it very much, but you have to remember most people are still on dial-up and will never see this page, they will have moved on because of the long wait. Agree with -pops- and Tony. The text is too light to read with comfort.Excellent work though, wish I knew how to do something as good as that. The main problems are the light colour of the text and the length of time to download the "ice" background (which is very similar to the WXP "ice" wallpaper that I use on my desktop).
