Strange Message on BT/Yahoo Broadband

When I connected to Internet this morning, instead of my home page I was greeted with a less than polite page from BT informing me of a load of things that I couldn't follow but meaning that I had no right to be there and one of the messages was that I was barred from using the service. The final instruction was to close down the connection. I did this, tried again and received the same message. There was a timer to the message and this expired and the page was lost before I'd got my wits about me to take a copy.

I rebooted my machine and everything then connected OK.

I use Startpage Guard, I've done a spyware check and my daily AVG went through without a hitch. Everything now seems all present and correct.

I don't like receiving messages like this, especially as I am paying them for their service. I'm reluctant to contact BT as their helplines are rubbish now and you can never get a meaningful response. Has anyone else had one or know anything about it?
