doug
I don't know what's happened but whereas previously I could just switch on, ao and make a cuppa then when I got back it had fully loaded it doesn't now. After switch on it goes through the motions but after a while it stops at a screen waiting for me to click on my name. How can I get back to just a simple boot up? Being retired you see I don't have any spare time :D

doug
Just looking at that geek routine. When it says "Enter a user name and password that should be used to logon automatically in the dialogue that appears" Click OK, can I just click OK i.e. don't enter anything?
