Damo Posted February 1, 2004 Report Share Posted February 1, 2004 Well, I was bored this morning, so I thought I'd go see what PC games were out in Gamestation, I saw they had an offer on Gamecubes, Brand new with 1 controller and memory card for £54.99!!! BARGIN, I just couldn't resist! I also bought three games, Resident Evil, Star Wars Rogue Squadren III and Madden NFL 2004, and thanks to Madden 2004 I've not slept today, which means I'm sat in my office at work having been up for 28 hours and have got until 04:30 till I finish......At least I can watch the superbowl!!! :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Damo Posted February 1, 2004 Author Report Share Posted February 1, 2004 Star Wars was £18.99, Resi Evil was £9.99 and Madden was £27.99...Gamestations good cause the sell pre-owned games.....the only new one I bought was madden......most new cube games are£30 or so.....slightly cheaper than Xbox......The three games I bought are all excellent.....the graphics and Gameplay more than matched the xbox (and I know cause I have an xbox aswell) plus from what I've seen in the past and what i saw today they're starting to bring out some quality titles on the cube! Damo Posted February 5, 2004 Author Report Share Posted February 5, 2004 It's funny you should mention the conroller because I happen to like it, if you remember back a decade ago (and even longer) you had the SNES, it's controller was basically a square nintendo controller with rounded edges, then when the PSone came out, the controllers were deemed to radical, people complained about their shape, it just takes some getting used to, the GC contoller is not all that different from the PS contoller, feels light and comfortable. Unlike the Xbox, huge bulky black box...and thats just the joypad!!You shouldnt let a consoles accessories sway your opinion on the actual console, the GC has some excellent titles, the graphics in most games are on par with the Xbox, I have both consoles and I much prefer the GC!
