Guest ironman556 Posted February 14, 2003 Report Share Posted February 14, 2003 Hi, I've got a new GF4 Ti, which keeps blacking when I'm playing GPU intensive games. I have loads of stuff (2 hdd, 2 cd-rom, & all the usual stuff) running on a 250W, which I'm told is too low, and could be damaging my system if it's got an underrated PSU. I've also been advised that I shouldn't be runnng a GF4 on anything less than 400W.I have absolutely no idea what I need to be looking for. All I know is I need ATX PSU, and higher power rating than my current 250W, and all for as little £££ as possible.I've been offered one of these for £25 from someone I know, but would like some opinions on it, before I buy. Will it last a while or blow up in a year taking the rest of my puter with it?If you have any other suggestions then I'd be happy to have a look.System:PIII 500 on Gigabyte 6BXE, Albatron GF4 Ti4200, SB Live, 1 fan currently, but looking to put anotehr in with the new PSU.Thanks, Ironman. What's the security/delivery like from overclockers? Having never bought anythign online before I'm a little lost.I assume I can use the fan as an extracter?
