doug
Help I'm surfing with limited protection. I've downloaded AVG6538fu_free to a folder. When I try to install it it asks for details including e-mail address for them to send the activation key. I did this yesterday and have tried a couple of times today. I'm wondering if my outlook express is working OK would somebody, anybody - I'm not proud - send me an e-mail then PM me to say It's on it's way.

doug
Try again. Yes thank you so much Sir Rad. Your key worked. the one that casey pm'd me didn't. Now I think that's because I'm running XP, similar to you but casey appears to be running ME - hence the differences in the keys. I've still not had any e-mails so there must be a problem at plus.net. Anyway I'm now up and running, fully protected, I hope. You know it never rains but it pours. Yesterday just as I was about to commit to the re-format, craig goes and b*****s up the forum. Essential maintenance he says. I think he just gets bored from time to time. Then, plus.net gets overloaded. After seeing your pm I managed to get AVG running. I came back and did a reply so say that worked, clicked on the add reply button and the forum went down.Anyway thanks again and to casey for his efforts. :wohoo:
