If its any consolation we had a piece of gear in the other day because the alarms weren't working on an ECG monitor, the tech spent some time looking for the fault, when he notice one of the chips had a leg bent upwards underneath it. It had been like that from new, it went wrong after about two years old when the chip worked slightly loose!So even the professionals get it wrong.Paul.
