cerio Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Hi,disaster!on my dughter's PC, with Win 98, I created a new userWe thought we'd checked that everything was the same before I deleted the other user (in Control Panel/Users), apart from a couple of folders on the desktop, but now she's found that she's lost an entire folder from either My Documents on C or from the D drive, of irreplaceable pictures of work she's doing that she needs for her project and portfolio.Is there ANY way to retrieve itThanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

-pops- Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Again at the risk of being terminally boring about backing up, NEVER do ANY changes to your computer system without a full backup in a known good working state.I know what I've just put is of no help at all to you at present but it may be useful for you and others in the future.
