moon
'I shall definitely not be resigning' said Bev, as she scanned the Situations Vacant columns.Hughes resigns over visa scam rowhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3589131.stmBut the prime minister dismissed suggestions that Home Secretary David Blunkett should also resign.'We've got used to having the dog around' he added. :D
Tankus
Its not the fact that she had to resign (before she wash pushed) because she had done something wrong and lied to Parliament ....It was the fact that she got caught ....Minister for N Ireland next year methinks ....Yet another whitewash investigation (Sutton) exonerating a minister ....this time only days before she had to jump ......Its bloody pathetic ..... andsome
They will probably put a new meaning in the dictionary for the word LYING. It will be described as inadvertently misleading parliament.

NONSENSE, this lot complained about sleaze under Thatcher, but that sleaze has increased beyond a joke under this lot. They must rank as the worst bunch of liars in political history. Don't forget also the farce about THE WALLPAPER, and remember that that person pays less tax than a pensioner due to being able to afford a first class accountant. Sir Radfordin
What ammused me about this was that they have moved the guy who was Minister for Work to take over this role. Says a lot doesn't it!Someone pointed out how amazing it is they can fill a role a day later - they should have interviews! Actually, they shouldn't be allowed to stand for such jobs!
