Agent Smith
I have used memtest for some time now. It is a good, simple useful tool.Mr. M.
Hurdy
Talking about memory.............I ordered another 256 stick from Crucial because 512 isn't enough with BF1942.It duly arrived yesterday and even though I'd obviously ordered the correct part number they sent an eight-chip module whereas my existing memory is 4-chip.All other specs were the same, timings, unbuffered etc. so I tried it.PC kept crashing, tried running Prime95 but it wouldn't go more than ten minutes.I 'phoned up Crucial and they agreed it was the wrong memory but they haven't got any more 4-chip in stock for a week or so.Just thought I'd share.
