AlanHo Posted April 4, 2004 Report Share Posted April 4, 2004 I have clumsily managed to duplicate a posting.I was under the impression that in the past an originator of a posting could select it and delete it - but that seems not to be the case now.Or am I mistaken ? AlanHo Posted April 4, 2004 Author Report Share Posted April 4, 2004 Yes - its the bird lovers one.I edited the body and tried closing the posting but cannot delete it.You are quite correct - the delete option is available where I have posted to an existing thread - but not when I originate the thread. I suppose there is a logic there - it would look strange if someone deleted an original posting because the remaining posts would have no reference - or might also be deleted.
