Guest Rebel=UK= Posted April 16, 2004 Report Share Posted April 16, 2004 Hi guys ive just decided to play IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles AEP on UBI Gaming service but when i click to start it up i get this error message"The client is incompatible with the server." Agent Smith Posted April 16, 2004 Report Share Posted April 16, 2004 I suspect that the reason you cannot get yours to work, is because it needs to be patched to the latest version to be compatible with the servers. UBI Gaming service allows you to join online games (like ASE & Gamespy), its not part of the game, its an extra service. As far as I can tell, your error message is related to the game version you are using. According to UBI, you must have patch version 1.22 applied, but more than this, it needs to be the correct patch.Depending on the original version of your game, there are different versions of the 1.22 patch to apply. Anyhow its done now i had to update UBI myself to version 4.4.1.4. it wasnt doing it so i had to.p.sDont want to start a slaggin match r out like that but can i ask what this is about "and in light of some of your recent comments" ?
