AlanHo
PopsI am happy to confirm that I initially posted this as a light hearted piece and frankly did not expect the thread to sponsor so much intensity. I am now seriously contemplating becoming religious - I would like to know before I choose, which faith gets the most holidays ?

Besty
There is nothing wrong in having a belief. It is when you become a extremist and go to far with it that it starts to become a problem
Sir Radfordin
-pops- ...whilst this may not be the place to have the discussion it is because people choose not to discuss 'religion' that misunderstandings exist and problems occur. A thread titlted "A swipe at religous zealots" is going to have gone some way to setting the scean."Witness what is going on now in the name of religion" - key words there are "in the name of" much of what happens in this world is just that "in the name of religion" and nothing to do with the religion/faith itself. AlanHo
Pops trapped me.I took up his suggestion of founding the Church of Perpetual Vacations only to realise that as a devout believer I am not allowed to advocate it or hold any services. To do so would be classed as work - and since I am now on a perpetual vacation - "work" is not allowed. I will therefore continue my search for the faith with the most holidays.
