Agent Smith
Besty, before I upload any files, I would like you to try something for me.Can you go to start, then run, and in the box type regedit and press ok.If an explorer type window opens, just close it and let me know. Do you know how to navigate and change things in the registry?Mr. M.
Agent Smith
Besty, I have just checked the download from Marks link, and it is not what we want to fix your problem. (all it does, is prevent you from making changes to file extensions). However, after looking round the knowledgebase, it seems that 2k and Xp have the same registry key when it comes to default executable extensions, so I have exported my own key for you.Just save the attached file, and double click it, with any luck it should restore your programs to normal.Mr. M.fix.reg
