To check for disk indexing, r/click the drive > properties check box for disk indexing.

Also

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [CTFMON.EXE] D:\WINDOWS\System32\ctfmon.exe

is on your XP system but not 98, it can be a bit of pain using CPU cycles

http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintas...library/ctfmon/

and

http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist_c.htm

CTFMon comes with Microsoft Office XP and Windows XP – it activates the Alternative User Input Text Input Processor (TIP) and the Microsoft Office XP Language Bar.   As long as the  Text Services & Speech  are enabled in the Control Panel, this program will force itself back into your list of background program

I'm looking further into your log.

:P

Mark 2 Back to here!

Sorry people, I have been too off colour over the past few days to look into this.

I picked up a nasty Human Virus, probably why I was in such a state, the other night!

Mark 2, from the Links, I believe that ctfmon is in relation to MS Office and XP, although the Articles mention other OS, it doesn't seem to apply in this case!

I have MS Office 2000 installed, but under WIN98SE, and a Search from WIN98SE finds ctfmon, but under the Drive where XP Home is fitted! The exact same as the Search from XP Home's Drive!

I cannot access Office 2000 through XP Home, unless, and I just thought of this, I do it from Windows Explorer??

I will experiment with it, and please hang in there!!

In regard to the Screen shot you Posted, under both WIN98SE and XP Home, the Boxes shown, do not exist!!! It may be because I have ALL Drives set for FAT32???

Hence that is why the Kids can access their Games through Windows Explorer??

Maybe this is better this way?

I have rePosted below your Screenshot!!

This is something that is very worthy of finding out for others that want Dual Boot, involving XP, maybe we have another Frontier??

Help Please ANYBODY!!!

I am very happy to say that I found out where my 3% CPU Usage under XP Home is!

I could test Win98SE and get a Nil % CPU Usage, but XP Home was always 3% CPU Usage, after watching and a Lot of Help from Mark 2, I have been able to locate a Program called Windows Stability Wizard cutting in during the Tests under XP Home!!!

Thank you all for your Help!!!

Problem Solved!!
