andsome Posted April 28, 2004 Report Share Posted April 28, 2004 A recent Microsoft patch for XP can cause problems with some Epson scanners. If you try to open your scanner software and it will not open, do not try to reinstall it at that point, and do NOT under any circumstances waste time and money waiting for Epson scanner help to answer the phone, they are inundated. I waited 40 minutes this morning for an answer. They will direct you to the link below to solve the problem. It is a little longwinded but everything works again OK, although it is possible that you may have to also reinstall your Epson printer.
