Hurdy
Friends of mine are closing their small hotel this summer and moving to pastures new. They have had many repeat customers over the years and many book by email. They don't want these customers to send in an email and not receive a reply as they think this would be disappointing for them. They also don't want to keep checking their hotel email account. How would they set up an automated reply? They are with Freeserve.

Hurdy
Outlook Express and FSNet ( is that right for the client?)
madboy33
personally i would close the account so the e-mails "bounce back" and therefore they know that they are not there anymore
Hurdy
But they don't want to do that, they want to send a 'Thank you for staying with us in the past blah blah' message rather then leave people in the dark.

Agent Smith
Hurdy, now that freeserve have renamed themselves Wanadoo, they have added quite a few features to their email. It has always been possible to get to your mailbox via the freeserve website, but now they have anti spam, and rules available. One of those rules, is to set up an automated reply to any incoming mails.Tell your friends to head over to www.freeserve.com and log into the mail box (top of the page) and they can set up the auto reply. All they would need to do, is check the account once a month or so, and clear out all the mails.Hope this is useful.
