Andy-2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Report Share Posted May 15, 2004 O i have a P4 2.53....I noticed I'm my BIOS that the critical temp shutdown was disabled.... so i enabled itBut the lowest temperature i could set was 60......Now i may be wrong but does a P4 not burn out at 50? I doubt that the critical temperature for a P4 is as you say as that temperature is only just above being just warm. I'm not familiar with Intel operating temperatures, being an AMD person, but have a look on the Intel website for definitive information.
