He asked me if i Could find information on his grandfather who served in World War one and died on the first day of the battle of Ypres. Is there any site were i could find information on what war memorial he is on. Agent Smith Posted May 16, 2004 Report Share Posted May 16, 2004 Hi Blink, there seems to be a great deal of information about this on the web (just out a few phrases into Google.co.uk and see what happens) but this looks pretty helpfull UK National Inventory of War MemorialsHowever, they do claim they cannot tell where individual soldiers are listed, it may be a good starting point for the research.Mr. M.
