I go clubbing almost every saturday night, and every week the DJ's get craper and craper. What the hell r these so called DJ's getting paid for. I was so annoyed last night cos most the mixin was crap, and was spoiling the atmos for me. I really could do a better job then these lossers. :censored:

I am older than most on the forum, and well remember every Saturday night dancing to a PROPER band or small group. Why on earth do people pay the earth to give a good living to an idiot playing records?

I well remember the very first do I went to where they had one of these record playing idiots. Every few seconds he cut the music and gave us a burst of inane chat. I lost my rag in the end and shouted, "for heavens sake, belt up and let us dance in peace". I was told in no uncertain terms by a bouncer or what ever you call them, to belt up myself, as this was his 'ACT'.

I think there is a bit more to it andsome than just playing a few records!! And with the best will in the world, a live band would be hard pushed to play club music... that is what the deejays do! It is a whole musical genre in itself.

And before we get into a debate on what is or isn't crap...... everyone has their own tastes! :)
