quicktime

Hi

i recently loaded quicktime movie player, now everytime i start up

it says there is no disc in the drive. its a pain as the box keep coming back

and takes about 10 click for it to finally give up.

i have canncelled qt quicktask in msconfig which stops it on startup but everytime

i use it again it comes back.

any ideas?

Yes there is something you can do. I'm not at home at the minute so I will try to remember what I did because I can't check it out right now.

But if you right click on the Qtime icon in your system tray, and have a fiddle around with the options you find there. The one you want to uncheck is 'run in System Tray' or something like that. Sorry I can't be more specific. :(

did that and updated it which has stopped it appearing on start up.

it now only does it when i click on the player itself.

don't want to play in the registry so that will do for now.

if you do think of anything else i'll would be grateful.
