Smiffy99 Posted June 9, 2004 Report Share Posted June 9, 2004 Hi All, Just a note to say sorry for my apparent absence over the last few weeks, but as you will have seen from Sir Rad's post (It's all over) I too have just completed my law exams.Talk about a nightmare! First exam, commercial law, we had a guy faint 30 mins into the exam. After 3/4 hour of him lying on the floor they invigilators finally moved him from the room. Talk about distraction!Japanese law was pretty awful - it could have been written in a foreign language for all I care :confused: Still, now off to Grays Inn in September for another year of study on the legal practice course where we are able to forget all the accademic learning and instead concentrate on how to fleece (err..."Advise") clients in the real world.What this does mean though is that I am now desperate to get out of rebuilding the Kitchen and laying a patio so if there is any help or advice that I can give please let me know. Got to keep my hand in you know and at least the members of this forum realise that a contract is designed to affect your legal rights (some may recognise the relevance of this.......)All the best and Congrats to Sir Rad - I am with you all the way! It is singularly the most stressful experience I've had, at least in the last decade. Good One!As to your patio / flooring / tiling or whatever - give me a shout. I do know a little bit about it, installed all manner of natural and ceramic floor tile, marble, granite, etc. I don't think I am what you'd call a "designer," but I sure know the basics.
