Shirley Crabtree
Hmmmm. On looking again they are being saved to a temporary folder which,I should imagine,is then deleted.Anyone know how to reset it so I'm prompted for a download destination at the start and then offered an Open,Open folder,Close type dialogue box at the end of the download? Shirley Crabtree
I've cured it.It seems that Winace was somehow taking over my downloads....I've uninstalled it and all is well  Please close this thread...and thanks for the suggestion. :) Shirl. Scarecrow Man
download a download manager like Download Accelerator Plus or GetRight. they are able to choose a default download location, and can be paused and resumed multiple times. there are also many other features, check the websites for more info. Shirley Crabtree
Funnily enough I have Flashget but I never use it unless I'm leeching a whole load of files at once.
