Formatting

Recommended Posts

A friend at work has asked me to format a hard drive he has been given so he can use it as a spare drive for his computer.

He has 98SE and I use XP, my filesystem is NTFS but he needs it formatted in FAT 32 and their is no option to do this. Is their any way around this, can I download a program to do this.

I don't see any point in formatting from XP or W2K. W98 is available and it is easier to format from a machine with this already installed than mess about with a WXP setup.

All that has to be done is as madboy states. Easy!
