Scarecrow Man
Well, I got it working. I downloaded a plugin called DownloadWith (http://downloadwith.mozdev.org/) and changed the settings from GetRight (default) to DAP. Only problem is, when I click download with and go to DAP, I can't open the main window. Now as far as I can tell the download is going, because my internet goes very slow, and I'm on dial up, so I notice everything :). Just a warning if you try it. nellie2
Why did you want DAP? click here
Scarecrow Man
Interesting.I knew it had those things, but not in depth like that. I am going to re-consider using it...the main reason I used it was because there was a 'download all' link in the context menu when you right click a web page, and it downloads all specified files.Good for dial-up, just click it and come back tomorrow, and maybe a couple of em are done :)

Bruce
Mozilla and FireFox's download managers both have the ability to pause, resume.
Scarecrow Man
Mozilla and FireFox's download managers both have the ability to pause, resume.Good point, but, as I said.. dial-up. So I like to set a bunch of downloads to start, and go to bed. I find 3rd party programs just do it so nicely.
Bruce
You can have multiple downloads running in the download managers of Mozilla and FireFox.
