Hi leee, other than the fact that M$ connections are notorious for "lying" about their connection speed, have you actually checked what sort of speed your connection really is?

Here are just a few examples

If you really are "running slow", then I would check that you have the best drivers for your modem, and that all cables are in good order. If you are still slow, then try to borrow a different type of modem from a friend and see if that is any different. Finally, if you are still concerned, you should be able to get your telephone company to run a diagnostic check on your phone line to check for excessive noise and other problems. This is free here in the UK, but I don't know about Greece. Good Luck.

Mr. M.

I have 3 56Kbps modems, one which normally connects at 28.8, one connects at 32.2, another that connects at 28. It's not nessecarily slower on either one. It's also just how fast your connected. This doesn't directly refer to your max speed. Upgrade the drivers and see if you get any change.
