prctr Posted July 20, 2004 Report Share Posted July 20, 2004 My WinXP will not allow itself to shutdown / restart through the Start Menu. I am having to use the manual button on the front of the case to kill it.Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it?ALSO: On boot up, the logon screen shows the wrong User, and used to show Administrator. I'd type my password and log on.
