Just noticed the 'Make a Donation' link at the top.

I think its an excellent idea!, im more than happy to make a decent size donation to keep this forum up and running, it must be pretty expensive!

But......I dont really want to use paypal, i have three credit cards and all are Maxed out!!!!!

So...........i would be more than happy to send a cheque off!.....That ok with you Craig? just PM me the addres and ill pop it in the post! :D

Pay Pal?......never has it been harder to make a contribution!

I've not used this service before and now discover I have to wait a month for my next credit card statement to find out my "Membership Number" which will be quoted on that statement, then I will be able to activate my account.

3 emails in my inbox from them:

"This is a reminder that we need you to enter your Member Number"

"In the item description section of your next credit card

statement, your 4-digit Member Number will be printed next

to the $1.95 PayPal Membership Fee. Check your next

statement to find your unique Member Number.

Confirm your email to activate your account! "

"Your new PayPal account makes sending online payments fast, easy, and secure."

What a palaver :(

bvw,

i found that when i registered the account.

I'm still waiting for my first statement but have been able to recieve and make payments.

That $1.95 caught me out too. But it appears in your account once you tap in the membership number from your statement.

Thanks Craig, we'll get there in the end  :)

I'm in Barbados next month when my credit card statement arrives so it'll be a few weeks before I can resolve this.  :)

No problem mate.

I'll suspend your member account until i recieve your payment!

You only need a membership number so that they take off the limit on your account. Be prepared to get a letter from your card issuer asking if you really wanted to make the payment. I thought that was really good actually........shows they are on their toes.

Thanks Nellie2, just tried again and got:

"This transaction exceeds your remaining sending limit. Please complete your Membership by entering your Member Number. You will then be allowed to send more money"

Ah well..........

Can't afford much guy's, but I'm willing to make the odd donation now and then. It's a good site and I would like to help out if I can.

Not to sure of paypal though, but can send a cheque, or pay through debit, or credit card. If a small donation by any of the methods will be acceptable, please e-mail me with an address to send same.

Best wishes, J. :)
