doug
In addition to all my other recent hardware and software problems I've had a bit of bother with printer cartridges for my HP 960c printer. Now I'm very happy with Choice stationery for price and service with their compatibles. I had some spares in my cupboard and have recently had to dig them out. These were their Think range. Would you believe it but both the colour and black were terrible. Rang Choice and replacements were promptly dispatched as they had stopped dealing with Think because of problems. Replacements promptly arrived. Colour fine. Black dodgy. Rang them and a replacement black was duly sent. Fitted the black on Friday and it was printing OK 'till last night when it appeared to have run out. Rang Choice this morning and a replacement will be with me early next week. You cannot fault Choice for service. Now the point of this post is that while in Tesco Yesterday morning I noticed that they are doing their own brand of refill kit - looks very similar to the IR kit. The black was £3.96 and contains 3 bottles of black + 1 bottle of cartridge flush. Being a bit desperate trying to print Rebel's WF banner I shot down to Tesco and bought a kit. Quick wipe over the print head of a stand by cartridge. Injected the ink and fitted the plug. Left the head resting some absorbent tissue (Bog paper), stuck it in the printer and hey presto I can print black again.I had seen in a recent issue of PCAdvisor that Tesco was getting into the Printer cartridge game so I thought I'd post this for interest. moon
Good on yer, doug. I read that somewhere and I've been meaning to accompany the missus to the shops to check them out. I'm sick of being ripped off and I'm longing for a price war. First ink cartridge sellers, then opticians. Thieving buggers.

Same old sweat shop producing them as produce cheaper alternatives. Anyone who pays fancy prices for Nike, etc needs their head looking into. edbanger
Rang Choice and replacements were promptly dispatched as they had stopped dealing with Think because of problemsI received 2 Cartridges yesterday from Choice, both the Think brand. Maybe they are still using this brand for other makes of printers. As anyone else had problems with the Think Cartridges supplied by Choice? Sparks
Always used Choice and found them to be very good. However the last black (Think) i put in my old Epson 600 only lasted two weeks and i must have only printed a dozen lines of text. Being as the ink was so cheap i ditched it, think i'll give them a call going by your comments.
