vibhory2j
hi,i wonder what does the computer do during boot up process. it first shows "Verifying DMI pool data..." and after that it loads the operating system. i just want to know what is the meaning of this "Verifying DMI pool data...". i also guess that this is shown only for intel processors and motherboards. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.cheers
-pops-
It is a hardware related error which can/does prevent boot up.Have a look at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...B;EN-US;Q287553
expertec
It does not only come on Intel systems, I have seen it on AMD systems as well.It is not an error message, it is just part of the start up process, but if there is a problem with the hardware it may hang at that point.
