Installing XP Twice whilst running XP

Once upon a time there was a very old wise guy called Powerless. He was fed up of installing software to "Test" them, see what they had to offer. But for most of the time they messed the perfectly running system "up". This perfect system was lost all because I he wanted to try other things out. He thought "by a cheap computer", but it wasn't really worth it, too much space, more problems could be discovered.

So powerless thought just to keep to a stable running system with no unecessary software, do a weekly maintenace and all will be fine.

So as the weeks passed, more software was being released, powerless had to come up with an option to test software but not to mess up a perfectly stable system.

So he looked at Microsoft and found what looked like to be what he was after: Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 there was a free trial, it was easy to obtian, easy to install and easy to configure. It was just right, just what he was after. It allowed him to install and run operating systems INSIDE of Windows. You open the application up and you go virtual...

When the trial was over powerless looked at the price of this application and was amazed at the price...a little over £100. So powerless looked elsewhere and found: VMWARE again there was a trial that was took advantage of. But when powerless started to use the application he found it to be confusing, too many configurations and to buy it, would cost over £150.

So Powerless spent his money on Virtual PC 2004. He used this for many months and enjoyed his experience in the virtual world. However, powerless found it to be slow and not as fast as he wanted.

So he looked back at VMWARE, read a little more and a little more and out of the blue spent his cash of this application. :o Upon using it once again he found it to be very fast [faster than VPC2004]. It took about 20 minutes [if that] to install XP. About 15 seconds for XP to boot :o this is what he was after. When you are running XP it's like it wasn't virtually created.

Powerless went virtually insanse

**AHEM**

Well It allows you to install operating system [Windows, Linux] inside of your current operating system. It's an application just like any other, easy to use, easy to configure [once i read up on it]. It is fast [VPC2004 i found to be slow compared to VMWARE], reacts like Normal windows would. You can install applications you can do what you would normally do on your O/S now.

I don't really know how to describe it, there are trial Versions.

VMWARE is more expensive but compared to VPC2004 it wins, so worth the extra. There are more configurations etc etc.

Also is layed out more nicely....

Oh you can even surf the net inside this viryaul world :o
