nom00
Morning all,My father has a win98 machine. He has his background set to a particular image. He says when he goes through the shut down procedure that the image changes. I have seen this before but cannot recall how to fix this. Somewhere there are two images set. Has anybody else seen this, and more importantly, where does he need to go to sync these two images (or remove if need be)Thanks for your time and information.nom
andsome
WELCOME to WF. Right click on the desktop & select Properties. Click onto Screen saver, and see what is enabled. When coming out of this after setting the image that you want, you MUST click APPLY before clicking OK. You should only see the image that has been set, even when closing down. Scarecrow Man
If you set your desktop image as a GIF, and change it to JPEG or BMP, the new image is over the old GIF. Therefore, change the desktop to none, click apply, then set the new desktop and click apply.
