nellie2
Words can't describe how awful I feel over this. That poor poor man.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3727658.stm
trackrat
Even though I cannot stand Blair and his cronies, they were all in a no win situation trying to deal with such barbaric fanatics. No matter what they did, even if they had released the prisoners, Bigley would have been slain. What sort of animal can take another persons life for the sake of a so called cause or religion. nellie2
Even though I'm sure we all have views on the perpetrators of this crime... we can't change what has happened.I think we should treat the memory of Mr Bigley with the respect he and his family deserve and leave it at that for now. djohn
Terrible tragic event nel. The poor man's fate was decided from the day he was captured. I've been watching Sky news all day and fired off an e-mail to them which was read out on air.He was just a card in a barbaric game of poker that the terrorist played to perfection. Tim Marshall, Sky's foreign affairs Editor summed it all up perfectly, he has a superb understanding of the way these issues are played out in the media to attract the most publicity for these evil people and he has a compelling way of explaining to the viewer. My deepest sympathy goes to Ken Bigely's wife and family. andsome
I think it's a big mistake to call these vermin animals. That is an insult to animals. Sincere condolences to the family. If the killers have a God, I sincerely hope that he roasts them in hell until the end of time.
