problems

1) in internet explorer, on some webpages, there is really really small font, not readable at all, is there a way to make the font bigger

2) when i am trying to install certain files with windows installer, i get an error sayin a files has a missing link with export kernall32.dll, how can i fix this?

3) on certain programs there is writing with special characters, my pc doesnt recognise those characters and i dont no how to make them come up.

i am running windows me with pentium 4, can somebody help me with these problems

2) the 1st error says "The MSIEXEC.EXE file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:."

then there is 1 behind which says " C:\new folder\MsnMsgs.msi

A device attached to the system is not functioning"

3) u no the special characters when u type alt + a number, some show but some get replaced with a question mark

On your third point, it could be that the font (typeface) you are using doesn't have an equivalent for the symbol or character you want to use. Try changing the font (just for that single use) to one that you know has the character you require - then change back again, of course :)

For number 2, I would move the MSIEXEC.EXE file to another location and try to reistall the microsoft installer for ME. If that doesnt work, you can put the file back to its location.

Thanks for the help. I removed msi.dll, msiexec.exe, and msi.inf, then ran the latest MS Installer

for Me and problem is gone.

He actually removed those files. I am scared when it comes to removing files so I recommend hiding them first

For your font problem, try writing your document in MS Word then copying and pasting into your MSN or other email message.

I don't use MSN messenger but I believe it has only basic typeface handling capabilities.
