jtimmy Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 Computer keeps rebooting after about 10 mins of gamming or encoding here is the info contained in the error message "Windows has recovered from a serious system failure"the following will be included in the report "C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini102204-03.dmpC:\DOCUME~1\TIMMY\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml" was wondering could this be a memory issue or what any help would be usefull. jtimmy Posted October 26, 2004 Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2004 Thanks for the info i downloaded the drivers like you said but when i tried to install i got this message "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close'to terminate the application." any ideas? Kirk Posted October 26, 2004 Report Share Posted October 26, 2004 thats not a bad site at all scarecrow. they even have a driverguide toolkit you can d/ld that when ran searches your computer for everything thats installed and just clicking on it can lead you to the link, when online, to look for any driver for any device you got. unfortunately though, the toolkit is a limited time thing then you have to purchase it. but using it at first is all he shouls need to get the drivers needed.
