At our rec. hall we have a computer (that I maintain) with Windows 98 that is for the use of park residents to get email and browse the Internet. I have it set up with a home page that has links to most of the email sites (Yahoo – Hot Mail etc) and other information useful to out park residents. (www.elarnold.com) We have quite a few French Canadian residents and some of them change the page. Quite a few of our residents that use the computer for email need the page with the links in order to find their mail. When I find that it has been changed I change it back. I do not know enough about editing the reg. to change the preferences so that the home page can’t be changed. Any help would be appreciated. leroy Posted November 11, 2004 Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2004 I downloaded spywareblaster and installed it on the park computer. I removed the shortcut from the desktop so it is not so easy to get too. The IE homepage setting is grayed out. Just what I wanted.
