I am a resident of a resort park where we have many winter residents. At our rec. hall we have a computer (that I maintain) with Windows 98 that is for the use of park residents to get email and browse the Internet. I have it set up with a home page that has links to most of the email sites (Yahoo – Hot Mail etc) and other information useful to out park residents. (www.elarnold.com) We have quite a few French Canadian residents and some of them change the page. Quite a few of our residents that use the computer for email need the page with the links in order to find their mail. When I find that it has been changed I change it back. I do not know enough about editing the reg. to change the preferences so that the home page can’t be changed. Any help would be appreciated.

I downloaded spywareblaster and installed it on the park computer. I removed the shortcut from the desktop so it is not so easy to get too. The IE homepage setting is grayed out. Just what I wanted. Thanks to you both for the information. :flowers:
